Accounts Assistant - Alliance Française Accra



Position: Accounts assistant

Location: Alliance Française Accra

Job Type: Full time, in person, One (1) year Fixed Term Contract (renewable)


Essential Responsibilities:


  1. Responsibility for posting transactions to Quickbooks
  2. Bank Reconciliation
  3. Support month-end and year-end close process
  4. Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliation,
  5. Preparation of Periodic reports to the director on treasury
  6. Book stock management (including advising on book orders)
  7. Follow up on debtors and handled debts collection
  8. Invoicing, writing cheques
  9. Prepare support in statutory return and financial Statement preparation 
  10. Prepare for audit and ensure the smooth running of the audit process.
  11. Administrative duties as required(filing, copying, scanning, calls etc)


Requirements:


  1. Must be Ghanaian or have permanent residency
  2. Bachelor of Arts in Accounting or finance
  3. At least two years working experience in accounting role
  4. Knowledge of Quickbooks or other accounting software


Working Hours: 40 Hours per week. (Monday-Friday).
