Job vacancy for Product Development and Production Manager

reputable Textile and Garment Company needs a Product Development and Production Manager.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support production process of developed items and assortments as assigned.

2. Manage the development process of approved items and assortments as assigned.

3. Prepare and maintain project list and routine status reporting. Manages, plans and tracks the development

schedule of all products to ensure a timely completion following the predetermined product development

calendar.

4. Ensures both the technical superiority and the product quality/integrity and safety and liability of all

products falling under the scope of assigned responsibilities. Develops products that meet or exceed

predetermined gross margin targets.

5. Creates the specifications for the products, publishes, and maintains all records, style files, and samples

associated with the product and related programs.

6. Partners with Sourcing to ensure the superior quality and timely delivery of sales samples for each

projects.

7. Partners with Production Manager to develop new garments from new raw material and processes that go

hand in hand with developing innovative and technically superior products each project.

8. Interact with Production Manager, Design, Marketing, Sales, and Quality Assurance to distribute product

technical details and assure the accuracy, legality, and integrity of all product performance claims.

9. Prepare and coordinates documentation associated with project costs, materials and equipment, third party

designers and contractors, patents, and copyrights as needed. Presents such documentation to GM for

approval.

10. Researches market and industry to bring innovative products, manufacturing technology and product

trends to improve quality of manufacturing and reducing cost of production.

11. Train local staff on garment product development, advanced CAD Drawing , product costing

computation, development of innovative designs, procedures, implementing processes and getting things

done on time.

12. Performs these and other duties as assigned from time to time.
