We are an International Catering Company operating in various activities in the catering industry and we are looking for a MAINTENANCE AND SAFETY COORDINATOR.

 

Job Summary :

The Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible for supervising preventive maintenance, performing, managing, and following up maintenance works on equipment, machines, trucks, and vehicles safely and efficiently.

 

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

 

• The role reports to the QHSE & Security Manager and Operations Manager. 

• Assist in planning preventive maintenance (PMP) for airline catering facility equipment, catering trucks and other vehicles

• Ensuring on-time execution of PMP by maintenance contractors

• Assist in sourcing of new contractors for specific projects and technical repairs

• Conduct regular patrols and inspections to ensure all equipments are in good condition

• Report any equipment defects for corrective action

• Update maintenance history for all equipment, trucks, and other vehicles.

• Update maintenance costs on a timely basis

• Ensuring quality of work, safety, and operational efficiency by ensuring standard work at all time

• Keeping track of maintenance supply and material inventories.

• Laise with logistics in purchasing any equipment, tools, or materials that may be required

• Assessing procedures and making recommendations for improvement

• Will be responsible for coordinating Occupational Health and Safety

 

Minimum Qualifications: 


HND, BTech, or BSc in Electrical, mechanical, or electromechanical engineering

Experience in commercial kitchen or manufacturing space

Excellent Supervisory skills and ability to manage a team of maintenance contractors

Strong problem-solving skills and analytical ability

Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively

Strong communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with different departments

Familiarity with Occupational Health and Safety regulations and compliance standards

Experience in aviation maintenance is a plus
