Description
Responsible for company computer and communication systems in Ghana within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs and timelines.
Cooperating with head office regarding IT related issues and projects.
Responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware (e.g., printers, firewall, routers, and switches) and networks access and to ensure systems availability in liaison with Head Office.
Responsible for installing and maintaining computer operating systems, software and data security.
Responsible for installing and maintaining all communication systems - switchboards, land & mobile telephony & internet access.
Prepare annual IT budget and monitor its implementation to ensure effective cost control in liaison with District IT Team.
Manage multiple suppliers, vendors and contracts regarding computer supplies, maintenance & communication.

Requirements
First degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or similar field.
At least 5 years of working experience in a similar role.
Prior experience in Maritime Experience will be an added advantage
Should possess at least one IT certification such as MCSE, CCNA, CISCO etc.
Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration & installation.
Excellent knowledge of technical management and of computer hardware/software systems.
Ability to build strong relationships within and outside the company.
Ability to work accurately under pressure with a high level of stress-resistance.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
At least 5 years of working experience in a similar role.
